In preparation for the The 30th Russian Industrialist International Forum Exhibition, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation has given a number of instructions to key agencies and organizations. The event will take place from 22 to 24 October 2026 at the CEC “Expoforum” in St. Petersburg.

The following ministries will take part in the Forum – they have been tasked to explore the possibility of participating in the preparation and conduct of the event:

Ministry of Economic Development (M.G. Reshetnikov);

Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications (M. I. Shadayev);

Ministry of Nature (A. A. Kozlov);

Ministry of Science and Higher Education (V. N. Falkov);

Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (A. O. Kotyakov);

Ministry of Education (S. S. Kravtsov);

Ministry of Energy (S. E. Civilev);

Ministry of Finance (A. G. Siluanov).

Top officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have been invited to send delegations from the regions to participate in business and exhibition programs of the forum.

State Corporation “Rostech” will organize the track “Achievements of industry” within the exhibition and business programs of the forum; will form a delegation to participate in the business program.

“Roscosmos” will ensure the organization of a track “Development of space activities” within the exhibition and business programs and formation of a delegation to participate in the business program of the forum.

The Ministry of Industry of Russia will organize a stand of the Ministry in the exhibition exposition of the forum and form a delegation to participate in the business program; will invite participation in the forum of state corporations, companies with public affairs and other industrial enterprises – with demonstrations of stands and exhibitions. Will also provide information support for the forum in federal media and on information resources of the Ministry of Industry of Russia.

The XXX International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist” will traditionally be a key venue for showcasing achievements of domestic industry, exchanging experiences and establishing new business connections. The organizers expect broad representation of industry players and a productive dialogue between business and government.

On May 14, 2026 an important meeting took place at the Petrodvortsov clock factory “Rocket” – the oldest industrial enterprise in Russia.

Attended by:

• Anatoly Cherdantsev, CEO of the watch factory “Rocket”;
• Kozlov Nikolai Dmitrievich, General Director “Expoforum-International”;
• Lobin Mikhail Alexandrovich, General Director of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg;
• Barova Marina Yurivna, head of the project “Russian industrialist”.

Petrodvortskyi  watch factory “Rocket” has its history since 1721, when by order of Peter I was founded Petergoff granary factory. In 2026, the company celebrates a significant date – 305 years since its founding.

This year is rich with jubilees: at the same time, the 30th Anniversary Russian Industrialist International Forum Exhibition  project is celebrated – a platform that unites leaders of domestic industry, showcasing achievements and setting a vector for the development of Russian industry.

Another important date in 2026 is the 65th anniversary of man’s first flight into space. On 12 April 1961, Yuri Gagarin made a historic turn around the Earth in the ship “Vostok-1”, opening the way to the stars for humanity. This event was a colossal breakthrough and a symbol of the scientific and technological triumph of the Soviet Union.

Symbolically, that in honor of the feat of Gagarin was created the watch brand “Rocket”. The name was a tribute to the first astronaut and an embodiment of the country’s ambition for the future. The “Rocket” models of those years epitomized the spirit of the space conquest era and became part of cultural heritage.

During the meeting, the parties discussed plans for joint commemorative events to mark these outstanding dates.

The participants of the meeting stressed that combining these anniversaries is a unique opportunity to show the indissoluble link between the traditions of Russian production and its innovative development and to pay respect to the achievements of past generations, inspiring new achievements.

The Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the forum approved the main provisions for the preparation of the XXX International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist – 2026”.
What was approved at the meeting of the Organizing Committee:

• Draft concept and motto of the Forum – 2026: Russian industrialist – uniting leaders for the benefit of Russia! As noted in the protocol, “The motto was not chosen by chance. It not only resonates with the slogan of one of the key co-organizers of the Forum – the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which celebrates in 2026 the 35th anniversary of the creation of the union, but also meets the national goals and basic concept of the Forum 2026 .
• Holding of the Coordination Council on Industry, which is proposed to be combined with a meeting of the Federal Council of RSPP with further demonstration of current projects in the exhibition program in the block: “Industrial centers of Russia” and “Street of regions.”
• As in previous years, the Forum will be accompanied by an extensive international programme to promote economic integration and industrial cooperation among BRICS+ countries and friendly countries.
• Key tracks of the business, congress, presentation and competition program, as well as the “St. Petersburg – industrial and cultural capital” program.
• The strategic partner of the forum is PJSC “GAZPROM”.
• Terms and conditions for delegates, partners, and exhibitors. Packages, options, and cost are clearly specified.
• Working groups on key areas: business program, member engagement, information support, international participation.
• Updated composition of the Forum Organizing Committee, co-chairs, vice-chairs, members of the organizational committee.

Recall that as part of the preparation and holding of the XXX International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist-2026” The first meeting of the Forum Organizing Committee under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov, was held on 12 February 2026 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The meeting laid the foundation for the systematic preparation of the forum-exhibition, defined key objectives and main vectors of development of the program.

From 22 to 24 October 2026, the “Russian Industrialist” Forum and Exhibition will take place at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg, serving as a key event for leaders of Russian industry.

As part of the 30th International Forum and Exhibition “Russian Industrialist”, a daily information project is launching — the morning newspaper “Russian Industrialist.

From year to year, the publication serves as a direct communication channel with thousands of industry leaders: from top managers of enterprises to representatives of government bodies and industry experts. The forum’s daily newspaper is not just a digest of events – it is a platform for participating companies to make themselves known and showcase their achievements, talk about completed projects and implemented innovations, share expert opinions and proposals for the development of the industry, and announce plans to take part in the forum programme for a wide professional audience.

In each issue, enterprises will be able to publish advertising materials on preferential terms, which is an excellent opportunity to present their services to potential customers. The newspaper is distributed among the forum participants and guests, and is also sent to key institutions in Saint Petersburg, such as the City Government and Pulkovo Airport. Furthermore, after the Forum ends, part of the print run will be sent to the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the North-West.

The new visual sign is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of one of the key industry events in the country and reflects the high status of the forum and exhibition, which has been bringing together representatives of the industrial community, government bodies, business, science and technology companies for three decades.

The anniversary logo symbolizes continuity, sustainable development and moving forward. Its concept reflects the scale of the event, its industrial focus and its significant role in shaping the professional agenda, developing cooperative ties and promoting modern technological solutions.

In the anniversary year, the “Russian Industrialist” forum and exhibition will continue to serve as an authoritative platform for professional dialogue, demonstration of industrial potential, and discussion of current challenges and prospects for the development of the industry.

On February 12, 2026, as part of the preparation and holding of the XXX International Forum and Exhibition «Russian Industrialist‑2026», a meeting of the Forum’s Organizing Committee was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, chaired by Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was also attended by Alexander Shokhin, President of the RUIE (Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs); Maria Glukhova, Executive Vice‑President of the RUIE; Anna Lyatsu, Managing Director of the RUIE’s Department for Public Relations and Media Communications; Kirill Polyakov, Vice‑Governor of St. Petersburg; Nikolai Kozlov, General Director of EF International LLC; Dmitry Stepanyatov, Executive Secretary of the Forum’s Organizing Committee and of the RUIE Commission on Exhibition and Congress Activities; and others.

Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the RF, in his welcoming remarks noted that the success of the Forum held in 2025 and the annual growth in the number of participants is the result of coordinated efforts by all its co‑organizers. In 2025, more than 280 companies presented their achievements at the exhibition. The events of the business programme and partner projects were attended by more than 14 thousand participants, which is 4 500 more compared to the previous year. Delegations from more than 40 countries participated in the Forum: China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Iran, Indonesia, the UAE, and others.

“We expect to prepare the upcoming jubilee 30th Forum just as productively. It also coincides with another anniversary, the 35th anniversary of the RUIE. I think we should also take this into account when forming the event programme and reflect the retrospective of the decades during which the RUIE has been and remains a reliable partner of the state and business,” the Minister emphasized. “It is proposed to hold sector‑specific thematic blocks with the support of relevant agencies, associations, and leading companies. This year, discussions will also touch upon the prospects of the defence industry (DIC), the fuel and energy sector (FES), the space industry, light industry, and the creative industries. I believe the scope of the discussed areas certainly needs to be expanded. This is the right track to enhance the prestige and status of this platform. We count on the assistance of all members of the Organizing Committee, co‑organizers, and for our part, we are also ready to provide comprehensive support for this event.”

In conclusion, Anton Alikhanov expressed readiness to hold the Coordination Council on Industry on the sidelines of the International Forum and Exhibition «Russian Industrialist», which will allow for promptly coordinating priorities, approving joint decisions, and forming a list of practical instructions based on the discussions.

Technological development is being considered as a new development vector for the Forum, as explained by Alexander Shokhin, President of the RUIE: “It is very important now, firstly, to fill the Forum with new content, to introduce new areas, including technological development.”

Alexander Shokhin also shared information about events within the framework of industrial tourism: “Traditionally, we are ready to organize visits to enterprises within the topic of industrial tourism. Here, our colleagues from the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg, as always, are ready to offer options for this kind of excursions.”

Kirill Polyakov, Vice‑Governor of St. Petersburg, welcomed the members of the Organizing Committee on behalf of Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg: “Traditionally, we are ready to provide all necessary discussion venues, as well as venues for cultural and mass events. Invitations will be prepared by the Governor for the heads of constituent entities and international participants, so St. Petersburg is traditionally ready to host such large‑scale events. For us, industry is one of the policy priorities and is included in the top ten priorities of the Governor of St. Petersburg until 2030,” Kirill Polyakov said in his speech.

Maria Glukhova, Executive Vice‑President of the RUIE, reported on the results of the past Forum: “In 2025, the events of the business programme and partner projects were attended by more than 14 thousand participants. This is a plus of 4 500 compared to the previous year. We see growing interest from industrial companies, buyers of their products, and the expert community. The significance of the Forum has greatly increased from the point of view of its international component.”

Anna Lyatsu, Managing Director of the RUIE’s Department for Public Relations and Media Communications, thanked the Government of the Russian Federation for the comprehensive support of the event and emphasized the uniqueness of the event, and also spoke about the tracks of the programme of the XXX Jubilee Forum: “We strive to develop an interesting and relevant business agenda for the event, as well as to ensure the content of the exhibition part so that enterprises can showcase their products and technologies. In the concept of the exhibition programme, we propose to focus on three tracks: achievements of Russian industry, achievements of St. Petersburg’s industry, and achievements of the global industrial community.”

By the decision of the Organizing Committee, the dates and venue for the XXX International Forum and Exhibition «Russian Industrialist» have been confirmed. The event will be held from October 22 to October 24, 2026, in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Forum will be traditionally operated by ExpoForum‑International.
