International Forum-Exhibition Russian Industrialist

The International Forum-Exhibition Russian Industrialist will take place from November 29 to December 1, 2022 at the ExpoForum Exhibition Centre in Saint Petersburg. The program of this event is designed to reflect the industrialists’ interests under restrictions and sanctions pressure.

The Forum organizers are the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Government of Saint Petersburg. From 2022, the project has a new architecture and an updated program. 

The Forum topic is “The New Face of Russian Industry in a Changing World: Import Substitution, Modernization, Personnel”. As noted by Aleksandr Shokhin, the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE): “The Forum Russian Industrialist is an annual event which has been held in Saint Petersburg for the past 25 years. The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Saint Petersburg together with the ExpoForum International came up with a very important initiative – to update the Forum, to make it one of the key events among the annual economic events”. 

Russian Industrialist is a federal platform for discussions and consultations between big business and the government, leading technology companies, and medium and small businesses about the development agenda in today’s environment. The main topics of the 2022 Forum Russian Industrialist are the measures of state support for industry under current conditions, import substitution, digitalization, training of engineering staff and international industrial cooperation.

More than 80 events are scheduled in the Forum business program: open meetings of committees and commissions of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, conferences and roundtables on the measures of state support for industrial enterprises and import substitution, panel sessions on staffing and “digital twins” in the high-tech industry, presentations of advanced engineering schools. 

The Exhibition Program is a demonstration of the high-tech industrial equipment, state-of-the-art products and the latest technologies of the leading industrial enterprises.
