May 31, 2023 was held an expanded meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, which opened with a welcoming speech by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, where the successes of enterprises were celebrated, The curators of industry in the regions and the Ministry of Industry of Russia, their effective response to current challenges for industry, especially on the production of OPK products.
Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, during his report noted, among other things, the sustainability of the real sector; the task of achieving technological sovereignty is fulfilled in a relatively short time frame in investment demand sectors (This is aviation and shipbuilding, railway, energy, oil and gas engineering, chemical industry, radio electronics, metallurgy and other industries) thanks to the continuity of industrial policy. But behind every industry stand the people who work there first. To eliminate the shortage of personnel, programs such as “Professionals”, “Advanced engineering schools” and “Priority 2030” are already being implemented.

During his speech, Alexander Shokhin noted, among other things, improved quality of coordination on industrial development. Proposals to improve the work of GIS “Industry”, improvement of the system of public procurement, mechanisms of industrial mortgages, mechanisms for improving product quality, support of foreign economic activities. It is particularly important to increase the number and level of personnel for industry. As the moderator of the board, managing director of RBC television channel Ilya Doronov, these topics will also be discussed at the international forum-exhibition “Russian industrialist – 2023” in November in St. Petersburg.
