On 16 May 2023, RSPU President Alexander Shokhin held the second meeting of the organizing committee of the Russian Industrialist Forum Exhibition.
The interim results of the formation of the business program and exhibition exposition of the forum were discussed, which will be held at the St. Petersburg Expo Forum on November 28-30, 2023.
The meeting was attended by a member of the RSPP Board, President of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs Sergey Voronkov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg Olga Goryshina, First Vice-President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg Mikhail Lobin, managing director of corporate and external communications of RSPP Anna Lyatsu, executive vice president of RSPP Maria Glukhova, vice-president of RSPP for financial policy and development of economic sectors Alexander Murychev, Director of the Department of Strategic Development and Corporate Policy of Minpromtorga Alexey Matushansky and another.
Following the report of the responsible secretary of the organizing committee, Ivan Polyakov, it was proposed to approve the draft program of the forum and the draft plan of the exhibition with the possibility of subsequent addition of new events.
Director of the Department of Strategic Development and Corporate Policy of the Ministry of Industry Alexei Matushansky, among the sessions that the department prepares for the forum, mentioned industrial design, career orientation, unmanned aviation systems.
The managing director of corporate and external communications management of RSPP, Anna Leutsu, reported on the activities prepared for the RSPP forum.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Policy, Innovation and Trade of St. Petersburg Olga Goryshina proposed to hold a Regional Industrial Policy Contest at the venue of the forum, and also announced plans to present more than 40 city companies from the pharmaceutical sector at the exhibition, medicine, IT and others.
The First Vice-President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg Mikhail Lobin reported on the work to include participants in the forum of the banking sector. In addition, according to him, the desire to participate in the forum was expressed by representatives of various regions of Russia.
“Representatives of Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Republic of Crimea have declared their intention to participate in the forum,” said Mikhail Lobin, noting that the draft program of the forum includes activities on industrial tourism, as well as personnel policy sessions.
Based on the reports heard, co-chairman of the organizing committee, RSPP President Alexander Shokhin proposed to accept a proposal for expanding the membership of working groups of the forum, and also to form new working groups: on international work, on industrial design, On the organization of the exposition of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum.
The next meeting of the organizing committee of the Russian Industrialist Forum Exhibition will be held until September 30, 2023.
